High School Sweethearts leave behind 7-year-old twins in fatal car accident

REDWOOD CITY, CA – Friday November 4, 2022, Grace Spiridon, 42, and Greg Ammen, 44, were involved in a fatal car accident in Redwood City, CA. The couple were driving around with their 7-year-old twins when the accident occurred. Both twins were transported to nearby Stanford Hospital to treat minor injuries. Unfortunately, police report Grace and Greg dead at the scene.

Investigation is ongoing as to how the accident happened, but reports cite another party involved in the accident.

The other driver was a 17-year-old accompanied by 2 other passengers with non-life-threatening injuries. All passengers in this vehicle were transported to nearby hospital. Both vehicles are reported to have extensive damage.

Grace and Greg met in middle school and eventually became high school sweethearts. They’ve made it through the years together and started a family together. A GoFundMe campaign remarks Grace and Greg as beautiful souls, and their world was their beautiful girls Madison and Olivia.

According to news reports the defendant was in a speed contest on El Camino.

At this time Redwood City Police Department are continuing investigations into this fatal accident.
