Over the years, the firm expanded into new practice areas and added accomplished trial attorneys to the staff. We have purposely remained a smaller firm, however, so we can provide personal client service. FIRM HISTORY
Founded by Robert E. Cartwright Sr. in the 1950s, our San Francisco personal injury law firm is committed to providing personal service and professional legal representation. We also strive to uphold the high standards and ethics established by Mr. Cartwright Sr.
In the early years, Robert E. Cartwright Sr. partnered with Suren Saroyan and other well-known personal injury attorneys. At the time of his death, the firm was called Cartwright, Slobodin, Bokelman, Borowsky, Wartnick, Moore & Harris, Inc. The name has since been shortened to The Cartwright Law Firm, Inc.
We have a history of cutting-edge litigation. Robert E. Cartwright Sr. was one of the fathers of modern product liability law. In fact, the first book written on product liability in California was co-authored by Robert E. Cartwright Sr., followed by subsequent books.
