Driver Under Influence Struck 2 Women, Causing 1 Fatality
Monday morning at approximately 10:50 am on October 25, 2022, it was reported that a driver in the Sunset District near 24th Avenue and Santago Street of San Francisco struck 2 women with his vehicle. Upon arrival of police officials 1 woman was pronounced dead at the scene while the other was transported to the hospital with life threatening injuries.
Police report the driver of the vehicle as 47 year old Robert Green of Hayward, CA and have determined Mr. Green was driving under the influence of drugs. Robert was transported to a nearby hospital for injuries and booked into jail shortly after his release from care. Mr. Green was booked on suspicion of DUI, vehicular manslaughter, reckless driving, speeding, and other violations.
